Safety Information
• Before starting work, it is absolutely necessary to read operating instructions.
• The fertilizer spreader may only be operated by an adult who holds a license allowing them to drive agricultural tractors.
• It is forbidden to operate the spreader by persons under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
• It is forbidden to use a machine that shows signs of mechanical damage.
• The operator is forbidden to wear loose clothing that could be pulled in by the moving parts of the machine.
• Extreme caution must be exercised when attaching and detaching the spreader to and from the tractor.
• The speed of transport vehicles within the farm must always be adapted to the surrounding conditions.
• The presence of bystanders near the operating machine is forbidden.
• It is forbidden to perform spreading operations if bystanders are at a distance of less than 5m (powdered fertilizers) and 6m (granular fertilizers) from the operating machine.
• The operator operating the spreader should be protected against the harmful effects of fertilizer dust with tightly fitting protective goggles, a coat or overalls, and a protective mask.
• Washing of the tractor and the spreader must only be performed in designated areas.
• Before eating a meal, remove protective clothing, wash hands and face with warm water and soap, and rinse the mouth several times with water.
• It is forbidden to leave the spreader unattended during operation.
• During the operation of the spreader, it is unacceptable to: remove and install guards, as well as perform any repairs, including maintenance and lubrication.
• Functional malfunctions of the machine elements must only be removed with the tractor engine turned off and the key removed from the ignition.
• It is forbidden to stir the fertilizer (especially by hand) in the loading hopper while the spreader is operating.
• It is forbidden for any persons to stay between the tractor and the machine until the drive and the tractor engine are turned off.
• Detaching and attaching the machine to the tractor must be carried out on a level and hardened surface.
• The spreader should only be unhitched from the tractor after stopping the tractor engine and removing the keys from the ignition.
• Regarding the telescopic PTO shaft, watch out for the guards in the transport and working positions due to the risk of damaging the guards against tractor components.
• Use a telescopic PTO shaft marked with the CE sign, with guards in good condition.
• Care must be taken to ensure that the telescopic PTO shaft guard is always installed and secured with chains against rotation.
• It is unacceptable to use a telescopic PTO shaft without full guards on the tractor PTO side and the machine power input connection side.
• Installation and removal of the telescopic PTO shaft may only take place with the power take-off shaft, power input connection, turned off, the engine turned off, and the key removed from the ignition.
• Before engaging the tractor PTO shaft, make sure that the selected number and direction of rotations of the tractor PTO shaft match the permissible number and direction of rotations of the spreader.
• Before engaging the PTO shaft, make sure that there are no people or animals within the operating range of the machine.
• Exercise caution near the rotating telescopic PTO shaft. Risk of hands being caught or crushed.
• Always disengage the PTO shaft whenever there is an obstacle or its operation is not necessary.
• Place the disconnected telescopic PTO shaft on the support provided for this purpose.
• After disconnecting the telescopic PTO shaft, place the guard on the end of the PTO shaft.
• It is forbidden to use a damaged telescopic PTO shaft.
• Repair, maintenance, cleaning works, and troubleshooting of functional faults must be carried out with the drive turned off and the key removed from the ignition.
• Nuts and bolts must be checked regularly for their fixed position and tightened.
• Use appropriate tools and gloves when replacing parts.
• Spare parts must correspond to the technical requirements specified by the manufacturer.
• The manufacturer bears no responsibility if any technical changes or repairs were made to the machine without its knowledge, if it was stored or maintained contrary to recommendations, or used contrary to the operating instructions.
