Safety Information
• It is strictly mandatory to read the user manual before starting work.
• The municipal spreader may only be operated by an adult holding a valid license to drive agricultural tractors.
• It is forbidden to operate the spreader while under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
• It is forbidden to use the machine if it shows any signs of mechanical damage.
• The operator is forbidden to wear loose clothing that could be caught by the moving parts of the machine.
• Extreme caution must be exercised when hitching and unhitching the spreader to and from the tractor.
• The tractor operating with the spreader should be equipped with a cabin.
• The presence of bystanders near the operating machine is forbidden.
• Washing the tractor and spreader must only be performed in designated areas.
• It is forbidden to leave the spreader unattended during operation.
• During the operation of the spreader, it is unacceptable to: remove or install guards, as well as perform any repairs, including maintenance and lubrication.
• Eliminate functional faults of the machine components only with the tractor engine turned off and the ignition key removed.
• It is forbidden to stir the spreading material (especially by hand) in the hopper while the spreader is operating.
• It is forbidden for any persons to stay between the tractor and the machine until the tractor drive and engine are turned off.
• Unhitching and hitching the machine to the tractor must be carried out on a flat and hardened surface.
• Vehicle speed must always be adapted to the ambient conditions.
• The spreader should be unhitched from the tractor only after stopping the tractor engine and removing the keys from the ignition.
• Use a PTO shaft marked with the CE sign, with guards in good condition.
• Pay attention to the PTO shaft guards in both transport and working positions due to the risk of damaging the guards against tractor elements.
• Ensure that the PTO shaft guard is always installed and secured with chains against rotation.
• It is unacceptable to use a PTO shaft without full guards on the tractor PTO side and the machine power input shaft side.
• Installation and removal of the PTO shaft may only take place with the PTO shaft and machine power input shaft disengaged, the engine turned off, and the key removed from the ignition.
• Before engaging the tractor PTO shaft, make sure that the selected number of revolutions and direction of rotation of the tractor PTO shaft match the permitted speed and direction of rotation of the spreader.
• Before engaging the PTO shaft, make sure that there are no people or animals within the operating range of the machine.
• Exercise caution around the rotating PTO shaft – risk of entanglement or crushing of hands.
• Always disengage the PTO shaft when an obstacle occurs or when its operation is not necessary.
• Place the disconnected PTO shaft on the support provided for this purpose.
• After disconnecting the PTO shaft, put the guard back onto the end of the tractor PTO stub.
• It is forbidden to use a damaged PTO shaft.
• Perform repair, maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting work only with the drive disengaged and the key removed from the ignition.
• Regularly check nuts and bolts for tightness and tighten them.
• Use appropriate tools and gloves when replacing parts.
• Spare parts must meet the technical requirements specified by the manufacturer.
• The manufacturer bears no responsibility if any technical changes or repairs were made to the machine without their knowledge, or if it was stored, maintained, or operated contrary to the user manual.
