Safety Information

− before starting any maintenance or repair work, turn off the drive and the tractor engine, remove the key from the ignition, and wait until all moving elements of the machine have come to a complete stop,

− all devices serving safety purposes during the operation of the machine, especially guards, should never be removed or disconnected. It is necessary to replace protective guards after a specified period, as well as all other safety devices and worn or damaged parts,

− it is forbidden to operate the machine by intoxicated persons, bystanders, individuals in a state of illness, or under the influence of intoxicating substances, and particularly children,

− while the FRUIT spreader is operating, it is forbidden to stir the fertilizer in the feed hopper,

− do not work with a machine that is not fully operational,

− immediately replace damaged or worn parts with new ones. Only original spare parts must be used, and repairs should be carried out by a person with appropriate qualifications,− the spreader should operate at the rated tractor PTO speed of 540 rpm,

− in the event of a failure, immediately switch off the drive transmitted from the tractor,

− the spreader must be coupled with a tractor of the class specified in this operating manual,

− after coupling the machine to the tractor, ensure that the appropriate linchpins have been fitted,

− secure the PTO drive shaft guard against rotation using the appropriate chains,

− use the type of shaft specified in the manual. Working with an incomplete or bent shaft, with jamming joints, without guards, or with a damaged guard is forbidden,

− it is forbidden to attach additional means of transport to the machine,

− it is forbidden to transport anything on the machine that is heavier or larger than the capacity and volume of the machine's loading hopper,Operating manual for FRUIT fertilizer spreader,

− protective clothing must be worn while working with the spreader and during repair and adjustment activities. Working in clothing with loose hanging or protruding elements is forbidden,

− always disengage the tractor PTO shaft when driving on public roads,

− the tractor working with the spreader should be equipped with a cabin.
