The MOTYL N 031/2 and N 031/21 municipal spreaders are equipped with a municipal attachment and are designed for the winter maintenance of roads, squares, parking lots, and sidewalks.
The spreading material (medium) can be salt, sand, grit, or mixtures thereof.
During the summer period, the spreaders can also be used for sowing granular and powdered fertilizers on grasslands, lawns, sports fields, and parks.
They are available with three hopper material variants:
Made of polyester laminate
Acid-resistant steel sheet (INOX)
Made of powder-coated black steel sheet

Safety Information

• It is mandatory to read the operating manual before starting work.
• The fertilizer spreader may only be operated by an adult who holds a valid license to drive agricultural tractors.
• It is forbidden to operate the spreader under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
• It is forbidden to use the machine if it shows any signs of mechanical damage.
• The operator must not wear loose clothing that could get caught in the moving parts of the machine.
• Extreme caution must be exercised when coupling and uncoupling the spreader to and from the tractor.
• The speed of transport vehicles within the farm area must always be adapted to the surrounding conditions.
• The presence of bystanders near the operating machine is forbidden.
• It is forbidden to carry out spreading operations if bystanders are within a distance of less than 5m (powdered fertilizers) and 6m (granular fertilizers) from the operating machine.
• The operator running the spreader must be protected from the harmful effects of fertilizer dust with tight safety goggles, a coat or overalls, and a protective mask.
• Washing the tractor and spreader must only be performed in designated areas.
• Before consuming a meal, take off protective clothing, wash hands and face with warm water and soap, and rinse the mouth with water several times.
• It is forbidden to leave the spreader unattended while it is operating.
• During the operation of the spreader, it is unacceptable to: remove or install guards, or perform any repairs, including maintenance and lubrication.
• Malfunctions of machine components must only be cleared with the tractor engine turned off and the key removed from the ignition switch.
• It is forbidden to stir the fertilizer (especially by hand) in the hopper while the spreader is operating.
• It is forbidden for any person to stay between the tractor and the machine until the drive and tractor engine are turned off.
• Uncoupling and coupling the machine to the tractor must be carried out on a level and paved surface.
• The spreader should only be uncoupled from the tractor after stopping the tractor engine and removing the keys from the ignition switch.
• When handling the PTO drive shaft, watch out for the guards in the transport and working positions, due to the risk of damaging the guards against tractor elements.
• Use a PTO drive shaft marked with the CE sign, with guards in good condition.
• Care must be taken to ensure that the PTO drive shaft guard is always fitted and secured with chains against rotation.
• It is unacceptable to use a PTO drive shaft without full guards on the tractor PTO side and the machine input shaft side.
• Installation and removal of the PTO drive shaft may only take place with the power take-off shaft and the machine input shaft turned off, the engine switched off, and the key removed from the ignition switch.
• Before engaging the tractor's power take-off shaft, make sure that the selected speed and direction of rotation of the tractor's power take-off shaft match the permissible speed and direction of rotation of the spreader.
• Before engaging the power take-off shaft, make sure that no people or animals are within the operating reach of the machine.
• Exercise caution around the rotating PTO drive shaft; risk of entanglement or crushing of hands.
• Always disengage the power take-off shaft whenever an obstacle occurs or its operation is not necessary.
• Place the disconnected PTO drive shaft on the support provided for this purpose.
• After disconnecting the PTO drive shaft, place the guard over the end of the power take-off shaft.
• It is forbidden to use a damaged PTO drive shaft.
• Repair, maintenance, cleaning work, and troubleshooting must be carried out with the drive turned off and the key removed from the ignition switch.
• Nuts and bolts must be checked regularly for tightness and tightened.
• Use appropriate tools and gloves when replacing parts.
• Spare parts must comply with the technical requirements established by the manufacturer.
• The manufacturer bears no liability if any technical changes or repairs have been made to the machine without their knowledge, or if it has been stored, maintained against recommendations, or used contrary to the operating manual.
