The T 458 hydraulic auger conveyor is mounted on dropside trailers. It is primarily designed for unloading them, as well as for loading seed drills and fertilizer spreaders in the field.
The auger is available in galvanized or stainless steel versions.
Benefits:
  • Off-grid operation: Ability to perform all transfer tasks away from electrical power sources.
  • Precise distribution: Thanks to the hydraulic drive switch located at the end of the flexible discharge pipe, material can be distributed precisely and evenly onto the receiving machine.
  • High durability: The internal flighting is formed from a single solid flat bar (not welded from individual rings. Combined with premium materials, this ensures long and trouble-free operation.
  • Mobility: The adjustable working angle and the ability to fold the hydraulic conveyor for transport allow for safe travel on public roads and through narrow passages.

Safety Information

Before every startup, the assembly consisting of the conveyor mounted on the trailer and the agricultural tractor must be checked for traffic and operational safety.

Only an adult who has read this manual and holds a valid agricultural tractor driving license may operate the auger conveyor.

Bystanders, especially children, are strictly forbidden from approaching the conveyor during operation.

It is forbidden to use the machine if it shows any signs of mechanical damage.

Before starting work, both the driving tractor and the trailer on which the conveyor is mounted must be placed on level, horizontal ground and secured against rolling.

Always check for foreign objects inside the conveyor before starting work.

Every time before starting the tractor, ensure that no bystanders are near the machine and that the hydraulic drive is turned off.

Always check the tightness of bolted connections as well as the seal integrity of hydraulic lines and connections before starting work.

The hydraulic system is under high pressure.

Extreme caution must be exercised when connecting hydraulic hoses to the tractor's hydraulic system.

Ensure that the valve hydraulics on both the tractor and machine sides are depressurized.

Any repair and maintenance work on the hydraulic system may only be carried out when the system is depressurized and the tractor engine is turned off.

Hydraulic hoses and any other hydraulic parts showing signs of damage must be replaced preventively to eliminate the possibility of oil leakage.

Due to the risk of injury, use personal protective equipment (goggles, gloves, apron) when locating leak positions.

Escaping high-pressure fluid (hydraulic oil) can penetrate the skin and cause severe injury.

In case of injury, seek medical attention immediately – risk of infection.

Repair work on the hydraulic system may only be carried out by qualified personnel.

It is forbidden to leave the machine unattended during operation.

Staying under a raised and unsecured conveyor is strictly forbidden.

Operating the conveyor without the safety grate in the feed opening is forbidden.

Operating the conveyor in enclosed spaces is forbidden.

This does not apply if the tractor driving the conveyor is located outside the building.

Personal protective equipment (mask, gloves, safety goggles, etc.) must be used when working with fertilizers or treated seed grain.

When driving the tractor-trailer assembly with the conveyor, limit the tractor speed to 20 km/h.

Exercise caution near low-hanging power lines during transport within the farm.

Driving speed must always be adapted to ambient conditions.

Traffic regulations (Highway Code) must be strictly observed when driving on public roads.

Fold the conveyor into the "TRANSPORT" position when driving on public roads.

Moving with the conveyor in the "OPERATION" position is forbidden.

After finishing work, turn off the tractor engine and remove the key from the ignition.

Carry out all repair and maintenance work on the conveyor only with the drive turned off and the tractor engine stopped.

Secure the machine strictly against accidental startup by other persons by removing the ignition key and engaging the handbrake.

Regularly check and tighten nuts and bolts to ensure they are securely in place.

Use appropriate tools and gloves when replacing spare parts.

Spare parts must comply with the technical requirements specified by the manufacturer.

The manufacturer accepts no liability if technical modifications or repairs are made without their knowledge, if the machine is stored or maintained contrary to recommendations, or if it is operated against the user manual.
